i. What this page covers
This page covers sampark.network — the website. The Sampark app, when it launches, will have its own in-app privacy statement that you read and agree to before any data is collected on-device. The product principles below describe the app's behaviour by design; the website terms describe what happens when you visit this page or submit one of the two forms.
ii. What we collect from this site
This site has no cookies, no analytics, no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, and no session storage. Loading this page does not create a profile of you.
If you fill the early access form, we receive the email address you typed. If you fill the partnership inquiry form, we receive the name, organisation, email, and message you typed. In both cases, we also log the timestamp, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. We use the IP and user-agent only to investigate spam or abuse; we do not enrich, sell, or share them.
iii. Where it goes
- An email notification is sent to the founder.
- A copy is appended to a CSV file on the server, which is not publicly accessible.
- That is the whole list. Nothing is forwarded to a CRM, an ESP, or a third party.
iv. How long we keep it
Submissions are kept until they are no longer useful — at the latest, twelve months after the product launches. You can ask us to delete your record at any time by emailing hello@sampark.network from the address you used; we will delete it within seven working days and reply to confirm.
v. Fonts and other requests
The page loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google receives a routine request from your browser when those files load, which includes your IP and user-agent — standard web behaviour, not specific to Sampark. We host no other third-party scripts.
vi. The product's privacy architecture
The Sampark app, when it ships, is built so that raw personal data never leaves your device. The graph that powers matches lives on your phone. The server holds encrypted tokens — never identities, never contact books, never message content.
This is not a setting you turn on. It is how the app is built. It is also why we can make the next three commitments without footnotes.
- You own your identity. Communities partner with us; they never own you. If a partnership ends, you keep your network, your tags, your graph.
- No advertising, ever. Sampark's business model never depends on monetising who you are, who you know, or what you ask. There is no ad product.
- Consent on both sides. Proximity matches and intent matches reveal identities only when both sides agree. Anything else is a violation of the architecture, not just the policy.
vii. Your rights under DPDP
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, gives you the right to access, correct, and delete personal data we hold about you, to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf, and to lodge a grievance with us before escalating. For anything related to this website, write to hello@sampark.network. The same address is the grievance officer for now; once we are a registered entity, the formal officer's name will be listed here.
viii. Changes to this page
If we change anything material, we update the effective date at the top and explain what changed at the bottom of this page. We do not silently re-write privacy commitments.
ix. Contact
Write to hello@sampark.network. A real person reads it.
